Here is a storyboard I designed for Fin and Zack when going to shoot the film. Me and Fin came up with the shots we wanted and I drew these ideas down so our cinematographer Zack could see what shots we wanted in certain scenes. Me and Fin referenced Propp's character types when writing the script in which Propp argues:
1. Hero - seeks something
2. Villain - opposes the hero
3. Donor - helps the hero, often by proving a magical object (in our case, cocaine)
4. Dispatcher - send the hero on his way
5. False Hero - falsely assumes the role of the hero
6. Helper - gives support of help to the hero
7. Princess - the reward for the hero
8. Princess's Father - sometimes the princess' father can also be the villain or donor
This structure by Propp allows the characters to drive the narrative. Propp studied folk tales and believes that it is possible to identify eight character roles and thirty-one narrative functions.
