Rough Cut 1 and 2

In our first rough cut of White Lies, we basically just put the footage together of the therapy scene to see how it all looks as a whole. We are currently testing different pieces of footage to see which bits we crucially need and which bits we don't necessarily need to fit the five minute time period we have been given. We tried speeding up certain pieces of footage to show Anthony's disarray in this situation, however as a group we don't think it has worked as we had initially thought it would, so we'll most likely remove that aspect of the first rough cut when making the second one.
We also need to begin to work on putting the audio together in the second rough cut so the clips are able to sync effectively with the audio. Overall though, the footage is looking good for our first scene.



In our second rough cut, we have started putting all the rest of the footage together. We still need to cut it down because of the five minute time period we need to ultimately reach, however the footage is looking very promising. There is a scene where Anthony turns the light on which ruins the colour of the footage. To fix this, we are going to get a shot of someone similar to the look of Anthony to turn a light switch on to avoid this error. There is also a buzzing noise in the scene where Jessica comes in which we need to fix. From watching the footage, I can see how Rory improved our film with his acting talent which has really given me confidence in the completing the final cut of our film.
